Hello World! Here I am!
Claire Elise Kelley
born Wednesday June 11, 2008 at 6:26 pm. She weighed 7lbs 6oz and was 20 in long.
Its A Girl!!!
Our Happy Little Family!
I started having irregular contractions Tuesday afternoon after walking Arrowhead Mall with my mom for 3+ hours. The contractions continued through dinner and visiting a friend's new baby. I woke up at 1am Wed. morning wondering if my water had broken (yes, you can actually wonder if it has happenned). My contractions then came 5 mins apart. We went to the hospital at 7:30am and were admitted. I was 2-3 and my water had leaked/broken. Everything progressed rather quickly! At least in my mind it did. I didn't get to any of the reading material I had brought :) . Before I knew it I was 4 then 7 then 9 then 10 and lets push. I was pushing for 2 hours! It is actually really tough when you can't feel anything down there! We saw hair and thought baby was a boy. Towards the very end I actually laughed and coughed her out.
We are so excited, tired, etc! Please keep us in your prayers! We are praying for sleep, nursing to go well, and for little baby to not be jaundiced. We will continue to update with pictures.
Blessed, but exhausted!

Congrats, so awesome! What a beautiful girl, we are so happy for you. But for the record, I just thought you should know that you spelled the middle name wrong? I think the correct spelling ends in an "a"?
