Claire Walking!

Claire is now walking!! Last week she started standing on her own if she was holding something. Perhaps, because she did not realize she was doing so. Then she would take a step or two from the coffee table to the couch. Since her birthday, she's been walking her baby or cell phone around the house while pushing this stroller. I really think it has helped her walk. She maneuvers it around quite quickly now. Claire also enjoys dancing. She bends her knees and squats (I like to call it plies) to the music. She also swings her arms back and forth. She is SO FUN!! So last Friday she decided to take 6 steps! She went from furniture piece to furniture piece. We did get some of it on video. It was so fun to watch, and proof that she is growing up! Today, she has been walking a lot more and cheers for herself (after we did). Praise is a great motivator! She shakes her head no when I ask for a kiss or hug! But I figured out if I cheer when she gives me a kiss, this is funny to her and she'll continue with her kisses. Whatever works!
